Sometimes i get emails asking about how waxing changes a painting.
I thought i'd show you here that it doesn't make much of a difference in a photo - it's really more of a real life touching type thing.
When i add damar resin to the beeswax and Really buff it - they are as shiny as a mirror.
Whomever gets this one in the mail will see what i'm saying.

Do you guys have resolutions for the new year?
Well, over at the favorite butterfly effect we're talking about resolutions.
i am queen hypocrite because it's actually my theme and i don't have a resolution.
right now i feel like i've caught the canary, and i just want to sit back and enjoy stuff for a bit.
when i wrote the theme, i thought surely i'd have a list of resolutions and shit i felt needed changing (i'm not really one of those highly self aware kind of girls)
but i just want to see what's going on and check stuff out for now.
i'm in...

The tuesday morning class will be a regular gig.
But i'll still teach at a sane hour on other days so that those of you in other time zones can join in if you feel like it.
Tomorrow's class (tomorrow is thursday, nutball...) is at 1pm CST.

Not sure how I missed Tuesday...and other days, obviously I'm not plugged into something or else I don't read emails. Could be that one.
